Bergamot Essential Oil, Citrus bergamia, possesses a lovely light, fresh, floral citrus aroma that is uplifting. It is known to help relieve skin irritations, and is helpful in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, acne, wounds, ulcers and herpes. Bergamot Essential Oil helps to balance an oily complexion and helps repel insects.
Cedarwood Essential Oil North American, Juniperus virginiana, is actually from the juniper family, but is the source for most of the cedar essential oils on the market. Cedarwood Essential Oil helps combat acne, oily skin, greasy hair and dandruff. It has a very pretty yet rustic aroma.
Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, is a warm, highly aromatic, spicy essential oil that works wonderfully to cleanse and purify the air, killing germs and bacteria.
Citronella Essential Oil, Cymbopogon winterianus, has a sweet, lemony aroma. It is well known for its effectiveness as an insect repellent. Citronella Oil is good in bug repellent lotion bars and flea shampoos.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil,Citriodora also known as lemon eucalyptus is a light, lemony oil useful for purifying the air and killing germs during the cold season. It is an excellent insect and mosquito repellent.
Lemongrass Essential Oil, Cymbopogon flexuosus, is stimulating, refreshing, increases alertness and concentration, relieves fatigue, aids in digestion, relieves aching muscles, soothes gastric infections and acts as an insect repellent. Lemongrass Oil is astringent and helps treat acne and oily skin. Lemongrass acts as a good skin toner.
Lime, distilled, Citrus aurantifolia Refreshing, crisp, and sweeter than lemon the aroma of Lime Essential Oil is green, tangy, and very uplifting. It is thought to help with concentration and to reduce cellulite when used in body oils and scrubs. This highly astringent oil helps oily skin and hair.
Peppermint Essential Oil, Mentha piperita, It produces a strong mint scent. Many believe that Peppermint Essential Oil can help relieve headache and indigestion, reduce mental fatigue, increase alertness, relieve nausea, relieve itching and help maintain alertness. It repels insects effectively.
Rosemary Essential Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis, is herbaceous, sweet, and slightly camphorous in aroma. Rosemary Oil is a stimulant. It can help increase circulation and relieve pain in the joints. Rosemary Essential Oil can help control dandruff, oily scalp and skin, acne.
Spearmint Essential Oil, (Kosher) Mentha spicata slightly milder, sweeter aroma than peppermint, can be a wonderfully invigorating oil. Spearmint Oil increases alertness, opens up the respiratory system, and lifts the spirit. It is better suited for children than Peppermint Essential Oil.
Tea Tree Essential Oil, Melaleuca alternifolia, has gained immense recognition as the strongest anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial essential oil. Tea Tree Oil is a popular addition to skin care formulations for its germ-killing properties. It is often used in winter-time cold formulations to keep germs from spreading. It is helpful within acne products and can help fight cold sores and heal wounds.
Valencia Orange Essential Oil, Citrus sinensis, is an uplifting, refreshing oil that can be used to aid in digestion, flatulence and nausea. Orange Oil relieves stress and anxiety. Orange Essential Oil will help with colic in babies and helps to reduce fever and headaches.
